3,249 people lost their life by suicide in 2022.
Starting 11 July 2024, Jason ran 3,249km over 100 days for those that have lost their lives, for those that loved them and for those currently in the fight - to give them hope and empower them to keep going. Jason’s goal is to encourage people to have a chat; no one has to do this alone.
Funds raised from the 'Have a Chat - Run with Jason' initiative will be used to fund the important work undertaken by Bettermentall, and also shared with our charity partner, Christmas on the Streets.
Get Involved
The "Have a Chat" run invited both individuals and organisations to engage, acknowledging mental health's significance in communities. The run was designed to encourage conversation, break down barriers, promote the importance of creating connection, and most importantly, empower and give hope to those in the battle
Individuals
Jason welcomed individuals to join in the Have a Chat Run however they prefer, whether it's running, walking, or cycling.
